Mangawhai is more than where we’re based—it’s our home and the heart of our work. We know the land, the climate, the coastal lifestyle, and the unique considerations that come with building here. From Rodney to Whangārei, we’re creating homes designed to suit their surroundings, built to last, and tailored to the way our clients live.

Josh leads our on-site crew with over 14 years of hands-on building and project management experience, while Fi combines practical building knowledge with strong communication and client support. We attend meetings together, stay across every detail, and genuinely care about the outcome because our name is on every home we build.

We bring complementary strengths across structure, finishing, planning, and communication. Two sets of eyes on every detail means nothing gets missed, and our seamless approach ensures every stage runs smoothly. With us, there are no middle layers—just genuine, personal service and a shared commitment to building your forever home.

Behind us is a tight-knit crew of qualified builders who share our passion for quality and a strong work ethic. We’re selective about who joins Elite Building, protecting our reputation for delivering beautiful homes while being a great team to work with.

We’re also committed to the future of New Zealand’s building industry. Through our partnership with BCITO, we actively train, mentor, and upskill apprentices, guiding eight through to full qualification over the past seven years. Our current crew includes three apprentices learning directly from our experienced builders.
